SERVICE ACTIVITIES IN RECENT YEARS

The Kiwanis Club of Fort LeBoeuf was chartered September 27, 2006. Since then we have had many service activities. Here are a few:

• 3rd graders at the Waterford Fair
• Adopting College age foster kids for mentoring and encouragement
• Bike Rodeo and Safety Day Programs (continuing)
• Blanket tying (blankets were given to the women’s shelters nearby (continuing)
• BUGS program
• Chaparoning 3rd graders at the Waterford Fair (continuing)
• Donating Items for the school Caring Closets (continuing)
• FLB HS Graduation Decorations
• Food Drives
• Halloween Costumes
• Halloween Trunk or Treat (continuing)
• Highway Clean Up (continuing)
• Hosted an Opioid Information Event
• Making Cards for Nursing Home residents (K-Kids)
• Making masks for COVID safety
• Making trauma dolls and stuffed animals for safety forces to give kids (continuing)
• Meet-the-School-Board-Candidates event
• Reading to the Elementary students (continuing)
• Scavenger Hunt
• Scholarships for Fort LeBoeuf High School seniors (continuing)
• Signature Project: Snowman Competition, Spring Fling, & Pumpkin Painting (continuing)
